Data Protection policy

The purpose of this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) is to inform users clearly and precisely about the processing of personal data carried out by the company responsible for the corresponding processing.
 
 
Identity and contact details of the data controller
 
 
Las Colinas Golf & Country Club is a complex managed by three different companies, Colinas Green Golf S.L. (B83977868); Campoamor Sun & Beach S.L. (B83835496); and Colinas Golf Residencial S.L. (B83835496), all with registered offices at C/ Luchana 23, 28010 Madrid and belonging to the Gmp Group (hereinafter the “Las Colinas Companies”), each with an independent and clearly delimited scope of responsibility according to the purposes of the specific processing, as shown below:
 
 
• Colinas Green Golf S.L., is responsible for the processing of data related to the activities of the Golf Course, Sports & Health Club, Racquet Club, Club House Restaurants (Il Palco, Umawa, etc…);
 
 
• Campoamor Sun & Beach S.L., is responsible for the processing of data related to the activities of tourist accommodation reservations and issues related to the services offered at WOW Beach (including its restaurant and sun lounger reservation service); and
 
 
• Colinas Golf Residencial S.L., is responsible for the processing of data related to the activity of selling properties it owns in the Las Colinas Golf & Country Club complex and to the integral management of clients, being responsible for the database of users who register in our database for commercial communications.
 
 
Any reference to the processing of personal data in this policy should be understood to be made by the company concerned in accordance with the above without any kind of co-responsibility.

Data required for certain processing
 
 
The provision of the data requested through any of the channels provided is completely voluntary for users, although failure to provide certain data or answers to questions that may be asked in the registration processes or in the electronic forms presented to users may result in the impossibility of accessing the services for the provision of which the personal data has been requested.
 
 
Information collected from Users
 
 
In general, we collect personal identification data, such as name, surname, and contact details such as postal address, telephone number or e-mail address.
 
 
Likewise, in specific cases, additional information may be accessed, for example, related to CVs provided through specific channels or forms provided or sent by e-mail to the addresses of Las Colinas Companies.

Commercial management consisting of sending advertising and commercial communications specialising in products and services of Las Colinas Golf & Country Club complex or of interest or which may be of interest to homeowners or users of its facilities, using simple segmentation to establish specific distribution lists (for example, place of residence, people of a certain age, golf enthusiasts, etc.) and always based on information obtained from our own sources.

Consent expressly given by the user

In the event that the user provides data of third parties, he/she declares that he/she has the consent of the same and undertakes to pass on the information contained in this Privacy Policy, exempting the data controller from any liability in this regard.

 
The user acknowledges the truthfulness and accuracy of the Personal Data provided, as well as that it is up to date, and we reserve the right to exclude from the registered services any user who has provided false data, without prejudice to any other actions that may be applicable by law.
 
 
The User shall be solely responsible for any damage caused to us and to third parties by false or inaccurate statements or information provided.
 
 
Recipients of personal data
 
 
Users’ personal data will not be passed on to other persons or companies to be used for their own purposes. However, we may communicate personal data to other entities of the Gmp group of companies, with your consent where necessary, which may have access to the personal data and information to help us manage the pre-contractual relationship or process the request made. We ensure that all these entities comply with data protection regulations, which are also directly applicable to them.
 
 
Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will disclose to the competent public authorities Personal Data and any other information in our possession or accessible through their systems and required in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
 
 
Retention periods
 
 
Your personal data will be retained for as long as the request is being processed. As soon as the query is resolved to the user’s satisfaction, we will delete your contact details.
 
With regard to the sending of information related to human resources management, your personal data will be kept for as long as it is necessary to carry out the selection process, and will be deleted at a later date, unless the candidate authorises its retention for a longer period of time.
 
 
If you tick the corresponding box, consenting to receive commercial communications under the terms established by Law 34/2002, of 11th July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, your data will be kept as long as this consent is not revoked or you request to unsubscribe from the service of receiving commercial communications. Revocation may be notified at any time by sending a simple e-mail message to privacidad@lascolinasgolf.es. You can also unsubscribe from the service by clicking on the link provided in the communication itself.
 
 
Your data may be kept, duly blocked, once the aforementioned purposes have been fulfilled for the exercise or defence of the appropriate legal actions, for the duration of the statute of limitations period.
 
 
Creation of personalised distribution lists
 
 
With regard to the sending of commercial communications, provided that you have given your prior and express consent, Las Colinas Companies may process certain data that you provide in order to create a segmentation of its users based on known characteristics such as age, sex and relationship with the Complex (user, owner…), for the sole purpose of creating distribution lists adjusted to the characteristics of the recipients. However, you should be aware that, under no circumstances, does Colinas Golf Residencial S.L. obtain this information from third party sources, carry out automated processing of this personal data or make any type of prediction or evaluation to obtain individual conclusions.
 
 
User rights
 
 
Users may exercise the rights detailed below contacting us by e-mail at privacidad@lascolinasgolf.es or at our registered office at Calle Luchana 23, C.P. 28010 Madrid, to the attention of the Legal Department. The request must contain sufficient accreditation of your identity, as well as the minimum content provided for in the applicable regulations. If the application does not meet the specified requirements, we may request that it be corrected. No consideration will be required for the exercise of the rights.

We will treat your personal data as strictly confidential. We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of your personal data and to prevent its destruction, loss, unlawful access or unlawful alteration. In determining these measures, we have taken into account criteria such as the scope, context and purposes of the processing, the state of the technology and the risks involved.

This privacy policy applies only to personal data collected or provided by the User through any of the channels provided. The User should be aware that we are not responsible for the personal data protection practices of the websites whose links may be shown on the different websites of Las Colinas Companies.

These external websites will be responsible for their own files generated with the personal data provided by the user through said external website, and therefore we cannot be held responsible for said files. We encourage the user to read the privacy statement of each and every website that collects personal data.

This privacy policy may be modified at any time after prior notification of the change, maintaining the criteria of transparency of information and fairness in processing that govern our actions with regard to the processing of personal data.

Likewise, this Privacy Policy shall not apply to other processing that we carry out for the fulfilment of their own purposes outside the purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy.
